The Catherine Ward House is located on a quiet street in the Victorian District of Savannah, Georgia. This wonderful 19th century inn has had its rooms, its amenities, its policies, and its personality updated.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Catherine Ward House is one of the most elegant and comfortable inns in Savannah. Each of the nine specially appointed guestrooms has either a queen or king size bed and its own private bath with shower. A couple of baths have a two person Jacuzzi and one room has a two-person shower. All of the rooms have beautiful old fireplaces and mantles.

Most rooms open onto porches and balconies leading to a quiet, courtyard with a fishpond and fountain. All rooms have complimentary robes and hair dryers for guests to use. There is cable TV, a small refrigerator with complimentary water and soda, and CD/clock radios in every room.

Located half a block from magnificent Forsyth Park (known for its formal gardens, elegant fountain, civil war monuments, open spaces, public tennis and basketball courts). You will find shopping, restaurants, museums, and over 250 years of history are within a few minutes stroll.

Sea Trade Room: A tiled entry leads to a large, but warm, apricot colored room with grasscloth wall treatments and floor-to-ceiling silk drapes. Vintage lamps, custom bed cover, working fireplace and two-person Jacuzzi all contribute to a romantic escape.

Nell's Room: The Queen size four-poster pencil bed and traditional wallpaper in soft yellow and cream tones and French Country touches create a warm and comfortable guest experience. The bathroom is large and includes the only bathtub in the house.
