Bed and Breakfast Description

We are only a short drive from beautiful little downtown Versailles, where you can walk and enjoy the antique shops and eat a wonderful meal. With easy parking in our little town, there is nowhere you cannot walk to. So stay in the lovely peace and quiet of the country atmosphere at Rabbit Creek, and be back in town in just a hop, skip and jump for the more active person.

Seven spacious bedrooms, each with private bath, provide an extraordinary place to relax and enjoy Kentucky's natural beauty. To enhance your visit, stay in one of the four rooms, which have private balconies. If you're honeymooning, our spacious Bridal Suite is furnished with a solid wood canopy bed big enough for four!

In the mornings partake of our free, hearty, all-you-can-eat country breakfast. The menu changes daily, but you can expect such scrumptious items as waffles, French toast, crepes, omelets, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and other surprises. Also expect fresh fruits in season and juices to quench your thirst.

We do weddings, outside or inside, for up to 125 people. We can coordinate the entire wedding or only the part that you need help with. We are a caterer, photographer, florist, we even do wedding cakes! We have a big conference room that holds 8 six-foot tables and accommodates up to 15 people. This is the perfect place for scrap booking.

We are also the perfect place for the business man. We can accommodate all kinds of travelers!

Area Attractions and Activities:

Rabbit Creek's location lends itself to a wide variety of activities. Horse lovers will find themselves within a handy drive from two well-known racetracks. Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, is only an hour away in Louisville, while Keeneland Racetrack in Lexington, one of the most beautiful and historic racetracks in the nation, is less than a 30-minute drive.

Take a visit to the University of Kentucky's Basketball Museum, or the Headley-Whitney Museum where exhibits can vary from ancient Chinese pottery to Victorian costumes. Plan a day in Louisville at Kentucky Kingdom, Kentucky's #1 theme park. You won't want to miss the Louisville Zoo! Take a break from your antique hunting for a quiet lunch at the Glitz, a popular tearoom. For the nature lover, Mammoth Cave National Park is just a couple of hours from your front door. Hiking and camping can be found in the Red River Gorge with miles of trails and campsites. If fishing is your thing then you'll love Kentucky’s lakes.
