A curved stairway leads you upstairs to Applegate's 10 guest rooms, each one decorated as distinctively and impeccably as the next. Besides each having their own private bath, guests will find fresh flowers in each guest room, along with a crystal decanter of brandy and Godiva chocolates.

Each of the guest rooms are centrally air conditioned. During the cooler months, guests will enjoy the cozy fireplaces found in four of the guest rooms. At the same time, in each room, guests can snuggle under a warm feather comforter and experience the tranquility Applegate provides.

Adjacent to the Main House is the Carriage House. It contains three units - two elegant king bedded suites and a two bedroom cottage with its own living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom with whirlpool tub and deck overlooking the Berkshire Hills.

Each accommodation has a private bath, fireplace or stove and central air conditioning. Many of the rooms have a whirlpool tub, wet bar with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There is an assortment of special touches in each guest room including fresh flowers, brandy and chocolates.

Near Lenox is Tanglewood, the summer home of Boston Symphony Orchestra. The cities of Lenox and Stockbridge, Jacob's Pillow Dance Center, the Norman Rockwell Museum, Berkshire Theater Festival, Barrington Stage Company, Butternut Ski Center are all located around us.

Room #1: A thoroughly gracious guestroom. Climb into its 4 poster king size bed, or snuggle into a corner sofa in the sitting area with a good book. Staying in this guestroom is a royal treat, with its fireplace and spacious steam shower.

Room #5: This noble Georgian hints of the old South ...(with)...pure Yankee hospitality. The room features a four poster bed with lots of shear fabric to make this room truly romantic.
