Bed and Breakfast Description

We are happy to make dinner reservations for our guests at any of the valley's outstanding restaurants; make recommendations and/or reservations for winery visits; and make suggestions for other activities the valley offers.

In the morning, a lovely, sit-down breakfast is served either in our solarium or on the deck, overlooking the vineyards and mountains. Fresh fruits, melons and berries, in season; fresh herbs; homemade breads and jellies are part of the full breakfast.

Guests have a choice of three, tastefully-decorated bedrooms. Two of these rooms have a shared bath, and the third bedroom has a king-sized bed, private bath and private balcony with a view. Rooms have very comfortable beds with goose down comforters and handmade quilts. Our woodsy setting provides quiet, restful sleeping.

Zinfandel House is situated on a wooded hillside a short distance up from Highway 29, halfway between St. Helena and Calistoga. Our decks offer a spectacular view of the vineyards below, the beautiful mountains across the valley and majestic Mt. St. Helena to the north.

Here in the heart of the wine country, we are close to many wineries. There are nearby trails for hiking, jogging, walking or bicycling.

A room is set aside for reading, listening to music or browsing through our collection of books on food, wine and travel. Guests enjoy relaxing on the deck in summer or in front of the fire in winter.
