 A lovely, custom home built specifically to host the weary, traveler with your comfort in mind. Your host family have strong Maritime connections as well as to the earliest settlers to the region the United Empire Loyalists. Ben Brae, situated on a mature third acre vista complete with wildlife, features three tastefully, appointed guest rooms all with private bathrooms. We offer a smoke free, air conditioned environment and are adult oriented. We're pleased that Ben Brae is featured on the Chamber of Commerce Bed and Breakfast House Tour recommended by leading wineries and the premier hotels. Enjoy our large patio/deck overlooking a mature, 1/3 acre vista complete with wildlife. Lynda calls it "La Corridor" because of the abundant birds swooping amongst the Spruce trees that fringe the property. It is not unusual to enjoy a 'Disney moment' at the bird feeder while the squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits along with their feathered friends enjoy the seeds. Your day at Ben Brae-on-the-Park begins with our enticing candlelit Canadian style breakfast. Home cooked, using the freshest local ingredients. Freshly brewed coffee and tea, juice, followed by hot croissants, home baking, fresh seasonal fruits and a hot entree will help you start your day. Area Attractions and Activities: Ideal location near Niagara Recreational Bike Trail and Heritage Hiking Trail. Just minutes to many of the region's finest attractions including The Shaw Festival Theatres, wonderful dining experiences, and interesting shops. Try jet boating up the Niagara River and get totally soaked. History buffs will enjoy Fort George, and late at night, get scared by taking the Ghost tour of the Fort. Golfers can enjoy the oldest golf course in North America, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Course. Other exotic golf courses in our area include the Legends and Royal Niagara.
