Upon arrival, guests enjoy fresh baked cookies. Each evening brings a wine and appetizer reception, often hosted by a local winery.

A three-course gourmet breakfast begins with sweet and savory breads, yogurts, granola, juice, and coffee or tea. Once seated, guests are served a fruit course, followed by a choice of two hot entree specialties. Breakfast is in the cheerful solarium, or on the veranda overlooking the gardens. The veranda offers plenty of intimate eating areas. Then try a quick round of croquet or tandem bicycle ride, and it's off for wine tasting!
