“Rest and relaxation in the heart of Halifax.” Victorian style home, and garden complete with antiques and original art to share with our guests. We are in a very quiet residential neighbourhood close to downtown and many attractions.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Breakfast is your choice! Choose between traditional bacon or ham and eggs, our house specialty - crepes with fruit sauce, "Paving Stones" - a thicker crepe with ham, egg, and cheese cooked inside, "Luscious and Lite" - raisin/apple bread pudding with whole wheat bread, or "The Maritime Vegetarian" - wonderful homebaked beans, brown bread and apple wedges.

The entire second floor is reserved for our guests. This includes our three lovely guest rooms, all with excellent beds and quality linens, and a cozy den with a desk and a window seat. The Rose and Arbor room guests have access to two shared bathrooms. On the second floor there is our new four-piece bathroom, including a luxury air whirlpool massage tub. On the main floor there is another shared four-piece bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.

Most Popular Rooms:

Garden Room: Has an ensuite, four piece bath with an antique soaker tub. Enjoy a beautiful southern view of the garden, queen sized bed and TV.

Rose Room: Provides a bright southwest angular window, an antique cherry wood chest and writing table.

Reservation Notes:

If you would like more information, or would like to book, we would be happy to take your call on our toll free number, 1-888-737-0778. If you are calling from over seas the toll free number will not work and you will have to call our regular phone number ( 1 – 902 – 423 – 2943 ). To secure your reservation with us, we require a non-refundable deposit of $35, which will be deducted from your final bill. We accept Visa or MasterCard to reserve your booking. Since we are a small bed and breakfast, we require 3 days notice, prior to arrival, to cancel without penalty. That is for our Mid/High season (May1 - Oct.20). Off season is 4 days notice (Oct.21 - April 30). As of Jan 1 2009 there will be a parking fee of $10/per stay Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm only if you have a vehicle
