Bed and Breakfast Description

We are beyond the bed and breakfast concept. The experience at The Cottage and Bungalow are quite unique. We will start your day with a full gourmet breakfast...an appropriate way to start a day of wine tasting (we know the highs and lows of wine in the area). In the evening, relax on the adjoining patios, perhaps take a walking tour of our 30 acre farm. Beyond the wine adventure, we have developed a number of unique "day tours" of wonderful sites unknown to many who visit the area.

Your hosts will be helpful in your local plans for visiting the area. They have developed a number of day trips to augment the wine experience, which allow visitors to see and experience the incredible beauty of the area.

Hollyhock Farms is not only a beautiful slice of country living, it is one of the few remaining "small farms" that, unfortunately, keep disappearing from the landscape. If guests are interested in organic farming, we would be happy to have them "tag along" and see where their food comes from.

Our location is a great place for access to Hearst Castle, Morro Beach, San Luis Obispo and, of course, the nearly two hundred wineries that surround us.

Our cottage: Has a queen size, double-pillow mattress bed & a state-of-the-art climate control system (by remote in bed!). It contains a wet-bar, sitting area furnished with country antiques, and a VCR/satellite unit with dozens of first rate movies.

Our Bungalow: A 2 bedroom,2 bath, full kitchen with central air and heat. 37" TV with satellite, outdoor bbq, comfy deck with great views. The combo of the Cottage and Bungalow is great for six (girls "getaway is becoming popular)
