 The inn offers tastefully decorated guestrooms, each with its own special characteristics, with private bath, cable TV, and telephone with free local calls. The inn has recently been renovated and offers comfortable lodging in the historic heart of San Anselmo, an active community with a wide array of nearby activities. San Francisco, the Napa, Sonoma and Anderson wine countries and Pt. Reyes National Seashore are all easily accessible. A recent addition is the banquet room/conference center, which has a 60 seat capacity and a full commercial kitchen. Area Attractions and Activities: The San Anselmo Inn is within walking distance of dozens of quaint shops, bookstores, cafes, and gourmet and specialty restaurants. San Anselmo has long been known as Northern California's antique capital, and over 30 of these shops are also just a short walk away. The town also offers day spas and a holistic health center. A short drive away are horseback riding, kayaking, outstanding hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor activities. Marin and San Francisco also offer a wide variety of cultural activities including symphonies, ballets, operas and museums.
