The mid19th century Black Lantern Bed and Breakfast in Topsham, part of Maine’s Mid-Coast, features comfortable, affordable lodging with sumptuous breakfasts in a setting of antique country furniture and homemade quilts.

The three bedrooms, two with water views and one with gas fireplace, have Queen-size beds and private baths in the room. The Black Lantern B & B, on the Androscoggin River waterfront, has spacious grounds with lovely gardens and off-street parking.

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the dining room or alfresco (weather permitting) at a time of your choosing between 7 and 9 AM. Breakfast always includes fresh fruit, homemade muffins, full entrée, and choice of juices, coffee and tea. Vegetarian and gluten free meals are available upon request.

Relax by the fireplace in the parlor or enjoy your favorite TV show in the sitting room. There are plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas.

Bring your canoe or kayak and launch from our dock.
