 Initially weekend lodging for visitors in New Bern to see the Tryon Palace in 1980, this Bed & Breakfast has grown through the years to offering year round lodging. Nestled peacefully in the heart of the downtown historic district and walking distance to the Tryon Palace and Garden, excellent restaurants, antique shops, the birthplace of Pepsi, the riverfront convention center and river walk are just a few of the many activities to discover. Six spacious rooms with private baths offer queen or/ full/twin combinations. Each themed room is spacious, with a non-working fireplace, TV/VCRs and phones with free local calls. We can assist you with meetings, corporate retreats, conferences, training sessions and couple adventure weekends. Both day conferences and overnight retreats are welcome. Area Attractions and Activities: New Bern is located at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent Rivers and offers sailing, fishing, or day-tripping to the Intra-Coastal Waterway (30 miles) at Morehead City where tour boats offer day-cruises. The Historic Downtown offers antiques, shopping, and sightseeing, Tryon Palace Tours and trolley tours of the Historic District.
