A beautifully romantic, 3 story Victorian home built in 1904, with high ceilings, ornate molding, fireplaces, & much more. This B&B offers full family style breakfast, a large covered porch, "L" shaped yard, brick courtyard, garden & massage is available.

Bed and Breakfast Description

We specialize in providing a relaxing atmosphere to sooth the soul and spark the romance in your relationship. Treat that special someone to relaxing massage or schedule a couples massage and relax together.

The whole house is enchanted as you'll see in the themes of the rooms, with fairies, gargoyles, wizards, sun & moon, and nature. The rooms also offer your choice of whirlpool tub, large shower, hobbit shower or a 6 ft claw-foot tub.

There are 5 buildings total on the property: Carriage house (Innkeeper quarters), Smoke house, Saltbox house (named for its shape), and an 1854 log cabin that is in the process of being restored. The outdoor facilities offer a large brick courtyard, adjacent to a large grassy area to spread out.

There are many experiences to have by staying with us in this old home. Some say we have a ghost and some say we have a Leprechaun only the attuned know for sure. We would love to have you stay with us and enjoy all the delights offered.

We have 3 room rates: for the Standard room Mystic Realm and Crusader's Quest their private bath access is outside of the room, the Twilight and Enchanted Garden are rated as deluxe both with bath access inside the room and the Twilight has a whirlpool tub/shower combined; then you have our Suite Nature's Niche offering a totally romantic experience.

For that special celebration of a birthday, anniversary, or wedding night we offer many extras with roses, chocolates, bubbly, and snacks.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The town is full of historical sites to see (Railroad, Mental Hospital, John Brown). Also nearby towns within 30 miles like Lewisburg, Paola, Ottawa, Garnett offers small town living that everyone enjoys.

There are many things to do in Kansas within 60 miles of this B&B. You have the Auto race track, Horse/Dog track, Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, shopping on the Plaza, many small towns to visit, antique shops, museums, old Stone Church, Adair Cabin and much more.

Nature's Niche: In this deluxe suite, you will feel as if you've gone back in time with native heritage accents. This room is located on the second floor offering a whirlpool tub, fireplace, and large shower, and of course a captains bed. Its Romantic!

When entering the Twilight room you'll feel magical with the powers of the Sun & Moon encompassing your being. This room is on the third floor of this beautiful three story home. Your bathing experience in a 48x72 whirlpool tub for two with shower combo.
