 Each of the 7 guest rooms has a private bath and is beautifully appointed with exquisite antiques, delightful comfort and genuine English decor. Our rooms are air-conditioned for your comfort. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room on lovely English china, with delicate imported linens and sterling silver. Our bountiful breakfasts are multi-course with a gourmet flair. Our guests continue to compliment us on our presentation and unforgettable meals and treats. Enjoy an afternoon cup of tea in the gardens, or a complimentary glass of sherry or wine in the early evening. Homemade cookies and other homebaked delicacies are available at all times in the dining room. Chocolates are hidden throughout the house. Dinner is served at 7 P.M in the dining room, by reservation only. We feature a genuine English pub meal each evening. Dinner is not served on Saturday. From our property guests can enjoy a short walk down Blackberry Lane to Penobscot Bay and a quiet rocky beach! You can gather shells and driftwood and not see another soul as you relax on the rocks. Open year round, Inn Britannia is the perfect setting to enjoy all of Maine's beauty in all four celebrated seasons! We are the only inn in the area that offers an all inclusive elopement package that provides champagne, flowers, an officiate and wedding cake with a two or three night stay in our elegant honeymoon suite. Plus, we will gladly photograph your wedding at no additional cost.
