Bed and Breakfast Description

A full Gourmet Breakfast is served by candlelight. Enjoy an individual casserole with pastries, fresh fruit and our special home made granola.

Each of our rooms is decorated to reflect the personality of one of your innkeeper's ancestors. Each room is large and comfortable, with a queen sized bed and private bath. Wicker furniture and rocking chairs are available on the huge front porch for relaxing.

Take a stroll through the gardens while watching the birds and soaking up some sun. Our Chocolate lab, Tumbleweed waits to greet you at the door. Please note, if you are allergic or do not like dogs, Tumbleweed does not go into the guest areas. However, if you would like to play you may come into Tumbleweed's area!

Area Attractions and Activities:

There are three great restaurants within walking distance and many more a short drive away. Syracuse Stage, Syracuse Symphony, Syracuse University and LeMoyne College are 10 minutes away.

Onondaga Lake Park is two blocks away and has walking, biking and skating trails and picnicking. Carousel Center is five minutes away for the shopper. There is always something special going on in Downtown Syracuse.

We are also just a few minutes from the New York State fairgrounds which has many functions all year long. The New York State Fair runs from the end of August through Labor Day.

Most Popular Rooms:

Valentine's room: With the double whirlpool tub, it is the favorite room. This room is decorated in a very Victorian style with an Asian theme of red, black and gold and always puts guests in a romantic mood.

Charlotte's Room: Also a favorite. This room, located on a private hall and coupled with the bath across the hall, is like a suite. The room is bright and airy with lots of lace, and the bathroom is huge with a claw-foot tub for soaking.

Reservation Notes:

Cancellation Policy: Full deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled up to two weeks prior to the date of arrival. For cancellations less than two weeks prior to the date of arrival, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours before 6:00 p.m. on the arrival date, there will be no refund.. Cancellations via e-mail are not acceptable - you must phone us to cancel and we will supply you with a confirmation of the cancellation. 'No Shows' will be charged for the entire amount of the stay (number of days times room rate plus tax).
