In the heart of the historic village of Shelburne, Vermont, our restored Queen Anne Victorian bed and breakfast inn offers a glimpse of what life was like during a more gracious era. Completely renovated, our nine room inn is enhanced by modern amenities and first-class service.

Several fine restaurants are within walking distance, as is the world-famous Shelburne Museum, a quaint country store, numerous antique shops, and a fine small supermarket specializing in Vermont products, fine wines, and popular picnic supplies.

Nearby is the city of Burlington, voted as one of the top ten US cities on many lists. We also boast an international airport, mountains for both summer and winter recreational opportunities, beautiful Lake Champlain (the largest fresh water lake after the Great Lakes), golfing within minutes, walking, jogging, and bicycling from our door.

    The Shelburne Museum, 35 buildings on 45 beautifully manicured acres, each building housing a collection of its own; Shelburne Farms, a 1,400-acre working farm, national historic site and education center located on the shores of Lake Champlain, home to Vermont's summer Mozart festival, special events, walking trails, children's farmyard and Inn.

    Vermont Teddy Bear, Church Street Marketplace, skiing within an hour, biking directly out the door, Lake Champlain 5 minutes away. Loads of antique stores and specialty shops including the Shelburne Country Store.


    Most Popular Rooms:

    The Webb Suite: A magical room. Skylights hover over a queen size bed on the second floor of our restored carriage barn; adjoining sitting room has wicker furniture & a 2-person whirlpool tub from which one has a private window overlooking the garden.

    Harrington: An elegant king room in the main house, overlooks the gardens through a bay window - pale gold and navy is the color scheme. Includes a private bath and full Vermont breakfast. (May be made into two twin beds).


    Reservation Notes:

    A one night deposit (plus 9% tax) by credit card or check is required to confirm a reservation request. For stays of five (5) nights or more, a 50% deposit (of the entire stay) is required. If you must cancel your reservation 14 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will be refunded, less a 10% administrative fee. If you cancel less than 14 days before your scheduled arrival, your deposit will be forfeited, unless we are able to resell the entire reservation. Please inquire with the Innkeeper, if you are unclear of the deposit conditions. If a guest does not show up for a confirmed reservation or checks out before the scheduled departure date, the guest will be charged for the entire reserved stay.
