Bed and Breakfast Description

Berry Springs Lodge is a new generation of B&B, built to take advantage of the Great Smoky Mountain rustic charm. For example, whirlpool tubs and private balconies are featured in most of the main lodge’s nine rooms.

Plus, Berry Springs was constructed with a central heat and air system that allows for individual climate control in each room. That’s an advantage we have over most bed and breakfasts—or hotels, for that matter. In most places, room temperatures depend on the whim of the innkeeper. Or, you have individual wall units that make a lot of noise and provide inconsistent temperature.

When it comes to decor, Berry Springs Lodge maintains the balancing act, steadily walking a line that demarcates rustic and luxurious. Each bedroom has its own color and decorating scheme, ranging from the more feminine and soothing yellows of the Sunrise Springs room, to the more masculine, Southwest motif of the Colorado Springs room. The other rooms are filled with a spectrum of blues, reds, greens and earth tones.

The furnishings and accent pieces are easy on the eyes and far from spartan. From the plush king and queen beds and oversized lounge chairs in the guestrooms, to the sofas, fixtures and dining tables in the lodge’s common areas, visitors are surrounded by a decorating theme that could best be described as country elegant.

Area Attractions and Activities:

There are a tremendous number of activities to enjoy while in the Smokies. Our concierges are here to help you arrange a complete itinerary of activities including on property dinner reservations and spa appointments. We will also gladly handle the arranging of all your activities; everything from skiing to fly fishing and show tickets or gift baskets and flowers. Great Smoky Mountain National Park, outlet shopping, Dollywood, theaters, horseback riding, hiking, etc. Fish in either our bass or catfish pond, ride bikes on either our mountain trail or our loop trail, play horseshoes, canoe, play table tennis, and volleyball. Or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains from your rocking chair on the main deck.

The Blackberry Springs Suite: A romantic honeymoon/anniversary suite with its inviting carved mahogany rice bed, whirlpool tub, spacious master bath, cozy living room with a fireplace, and private deck to view the sunrise and sunsets.

The Holly Springs Room: Quite charming & cozy. This room offers a cherry king bed, whirlpool bath, fireplace & private balcony to relax. Not to mention the exquisite view of the sunrise in the morning, as it rises above the mountains.
