Bed and Breakfast Description

Asheville, North Carolina bed and breakfast: Biltmore Village Inn

Built in 1892 the inn has been completely updated, blending period décor with modern comforts: whirlpool tubs (most double) and separate showers in every en suite bathroom, guest-controlled thermostats for the central heating and air conditioning in the main house, fireplaces in all the rooms (and in several bathrooms), flat screen TV, DVD players and a guest computer with Internet access.

The huge porches invite you to sit in one of our rocking chairs and enjoy the views, the multitude of birds, and the breeze that always blows across our hilltop. Our location is unmatched. It is the only inn in Asheville that truly has mountain views from our wrap-around porch.

We specialize in romance and stress reduction. We have afternoon tea either on the porches or by the fireplace in the parlor. We’re here to guide you on your expeditions to the exciting Asheville area, and to introduce you to our town’s wonderful restaurants.

Asheville has wonderful art galleries, and is a center for mountain crafts. There are many festivals in town through the summer, featuring music of all kinds (Asheville is a music center). There are many wonderful restaurants, many of them with outside tables so you can dine and people watch (the variety of people here is one of the town's attractions).

Outside Magazine has picked Asheville as one of the top ten places with outdoor activities, including mountain climbing and biking, whitewater rafting, hiking, camping, fishing, and more.
