Boothbay, Maine bed and breakfast: Hodgdon Island Inn B&B
The Hodgdon Island Inn is much more than a typical Bed and Breakfast. Innkeepers Joy & Dan Moody have opened their home for your enjoyment & it is their wish that you feel supremely relaxed & at home while there. The beauty of the grounds, the spectacular views of the cove, the salt breeze across the porch....drink it all in. Enjoy! Awake to the aroma of coffee & join your fellow inn-goers for a delicious breakfast, served buffet style on the Victorian marble-top sideboards. You may choose to eat in the dining room, the bay window facing the water, or on the porch taking in the Maine morning & the lobster boats heading out to set their traps.

You decide what your stay will be like - be it the bustle of vacation activities, the quiet solitude of our inn and grounds, or an exhilarating mix of both. The inn's wide veranda is perfect for relaxing, reading a book, or meeting new friends. There is a heated outdoor pool & seating on the deepwater frontage. The inn is near Maine's first Botanical Gardens, & was herself featured in the 2006 House & Garden Tour. Also nearby are several hiking trails owned by the Land Trust & open to the public. Launch your kayak just down the street, or take a guided nature tour. And, if you want the bustle of Boothbay Harbor's shops, restaurants & cruises, it is a quick 5 minute drive into town.

When you come "home" you will find home baked treats, complimentary cold drinks, & Innkeepers who treat you like family waiting.
