Nestled in the hills above the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, Madrona Manor is an exceptionally lovely Victorian estate surrounded by eight acres of wooded & landscaped grounds.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Mansion was built in 1881. A destination for guests seeking a stay in the gracious wine country of northern California since 1981, Madrona Manor is distinguished by a sense of relaxed elegance and gracious charm. We offer luxurious amenities such as stately antique furniture, elegant decor, world class mattresses, feather soft linens, thick terry cloth robes and an extensive buffet breakfast.

The majestic three-story Victorian Mansion offers nine luxurious rooms with private baths. All bedrooms have fireplaces and king-sized beds. Downstairs, the elegant Music Room is graced with many original antiques, including a stunning rosewood piano, a delightful area for reading near the fire, chatting with other guests or enjoying a game or two of chess.

A gem also built in 1881, the Carriage House has been completely renovated to house eight rooms with private baths plus one suite. Additional rooms and suites are located in the Garden Cottage, Schoolhouse Suites, and Meadow Wood Building.

Chef Mallgren masterfully prepares New Californian cuisine using the finest ingredients available in the county, as well as greens, vegetables, herbs and fruit from our organic gardens. Visitors can stroll through the beautiful gardens. An extensive à la carte menu is offered daily. In addition, Chef Mallgren also creates three separate daily gourmet tasting menus of five, seven, or nine courses for those seeking the complete culinary tour de force.

Most Popular Rooms:

Suite 400: King-sized bed and private deck looking over the wooded hillsides. Bathroom is tiled in Greek marble and features a Jacuzzi tub for two. Shutters may be opened for a direct view of the fireplace from the Jacuzzi.

The Garden Cottage: The most secluded of our accommodations has private gardens and a sheltered deck. The suite has a queen sized bed, sitting room and a marble fireplace.
