Pleasant View Guest House and Bed & Breakfast is centrally located in the heart of Nova Scotia's scenic Lighthouse Route, Hwy. #3, on the South Shore.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Before embarking on your daily activities, we provide a full breakfast in our dining room overlooking St. Margaret's Bay.

Guests can relax in our comfortable lounge or take advantage of our Patio Deck for the wonderful view of St. Margaret's Bay.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Many popular tourist destinations and attractions are within a leisurely 40 minute or less drive, including Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Blue Rocks and Chester. The popular Hubbards Cove is only 5 minutes away and there are several stores and a post office as well as a selection of dining establishments including lobster dinners and local entertainment.

Queensland beach is located just a short walk along the road for those who wish to take a casual stroll along the ocean, or simply relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the waves breaking on the shore. Many other sandy beaches are within a short driving distance. The St. Margaret's Bay area is a popular destination for anyone who enjoys boating and fishing in addition to sightseeing.

Our 35 acre property is adjacent to the "Rails to Trails" nature trail for those who enjoy hiking, biking or simply strolling through the countryside enjoying an opportunity to see some of the abundant wildlife in the area.

Most Popular Rooms:

For guests wishing to enjoy the hospitality of our Bed and Breakfast accommodation, we offer two rooms each with a private bathroom.

Guest House: There are four individual comfortably furnished bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 on the ground floor. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom; the upstairs rooms' bathrooms include a Jacuzzi while the downstairs bathrooms have a shower stall.
