To get a good perspective of the city's layout and history, take a trolley tour along the Freedom Trail and other historic sites.
Boston is more than history though... shopping is phenomenal here! Be sure to visit both Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Newbury Street, where you can find something for almost any taste.
Boston is also home to some of the world's finest and most unique museums. The Museum of Fine Arts and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Institute of Contemporary Art are a short subway ride away. For sports fans, we are convenient to Fenway Park (Go Red Sox!) and TD Banknorth Garden (Celtics, Bruins). To round off your visit, cross the river to Cambridge and stroll the campus of Harvard University and experience the street theater of Harvard Square--launch pad for many well-known musicians.
Tennis, golf, sailing, biking and hiking are all available nearby. The Esplanade, home to the world-famous 4th of July fireworks/Boston Pops concert, is just steps away.
