The Coloma Country Inn
Coloma, California.
Peaceful country farmhouse built in 1852, set among flower gardens and pond on 2.5 acres. Just 1.5 blocks to Sutter's Mill, Coloma offers a historic village setting with living history programs. Whitewater raft the American River minutes from the Inn.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills between Lake Tahoe and Sacramento, the Coloma Country Inn provides the perfect setting for an exciting family adventure or a romantic getaway.
Built in 1852, this charming country farmhouse is located on 2.5 private acres in the middle of a 300-acre California State Historic Park. Each of the six rooms is individually decorated, featuring antiques, lush beds and bedding, monogrammed towels, and seasonal decoration.
While visiting the Inn, explore the exhibits and ruins of Marshall Gold Discovery State Park; try your luck at gold panning, enjoy the thrills of whitewater rafting, mountain biking, or hiking. Plan a fabulous day trip to the many area wineries, browse the antique shops and galleries in old town Placerville, or cruise up to Apple Hill to enjoy just-picked fruits, fresh baked goods and locally handcrafted items.
Better - just sit back and relax...
Over 140 years old, this two-story grey and white clapboard farmhouse is one of the oldest surviving structures inside the Park, and has the charming feel of a well-established country home. Decorated with a pleasing mix of both American and English antiques, all rooms feature private baths.
Located just across the street from two charming and historic 1850's churches, the Inn is the ideal site for a country garden reception following a intimate church ceremony.
