Bed and Breakfast Description

Tiffany Gardens is a relaxing,romantic retreat for serious gardeners or for everyone who just loves flowers, plants, natural wildlife and the outdoors. We are centrally located within 30 minutes to many of New England's finest Garden Centers.

A delicious breakfast will be served overlooking the gardens. Breakfast served outdoors weather permitting. The Juniper Suite offers private dining overlooking gardens. Special requests for breakfast accepted. Special diets accepted.

Two spacious rooms with private balcony overlooking the gardens have private baths, queen-size bed, sitting area, robes, hair dryer, mini-fridge with snacks, cable TV with DVD player, fresh flowers, and air conditioning. Private entrance on Juniper suite. No cell service at this time. Juniper suite has gas fireplace. Common area has fireplace for reading with pool and garden views.

Hosts Jim and Kathy McMahon raised a family in this once forested homestead, and then when the children moved away we directed our love and energy into a garden. We cut down "all" aged and broken trees, section by section, dug up the tree stumps or ground them into the earth. Working March thru November, no matter what the weather, until dark we labored on and we continue to this day. No tree or stone was to large to move for stone walls and waterfalls. No master plan was drawn up to start or follow. Plants were chosen for their color, diversity, and beauty and then given a new home from landscaping centers all over USA.

Most Popular Rooms:

The "country farmhouse style" Juniper Suite is at garden level and has a private entrance. The large front room has windows on three sides, a dining table, sofa and feels as if you are in the garden. The bedroom has a gas fireplace for romantic evenings.

The Victorian style Rose room overlooks the swimming pool from the 2nd floor. This spacious and private room with full bath, stocked mini fridge and double sinks has windows on two sides and allows guest to listen to the sounds of water falls all night.
