Coolly located just above Hilo with panoramic views of Hilo Bay to South Point and the active volcano. Plantation home was built in 1950's and has been extensively remodeled but the original charm remains.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The child-friendly acre and a half contains mature exotic fruit trees and the stream is lined by banana trees. Hundreds of anthuriums of exotic hues brighten the landscape.

Just a short drive to the famous Hilo Farmer's Market, beaches, waterfalls, Volcano National Park, the new multi-million dollar public Imolo Astronomy Center, whale watching, botanical gardens, art museums, local and fine dining and more. Enjoy the true Hawaii. Laundry facilities, barbecue and full room tiled double-shower with view. Tropical breakfast with all exotic fresh fruits of the island and Kona coffee.

The B & B offers an entire suite with 2 private rooms and has a private entrance. Includes incredible views, large tiled double-shower, refrigerator, microwave, tropical breakfast with all exotic fresh fruits of the island and Kona coffee. Barbecue, covered parking and laundry facilities provided.

Close to Volcano National Park, Zoo, Akaka Falls,Rainbow Falls, art museums,whale watching, Lyman Museum, fabulous Imiola Astronomy Center, Botanical Gardens,Tsunami Museum, Kamana Lava Tube Cave andHilo's famous Farmer's Market.

Most Popular Rooms:

Aloha 1 is an extremely large room and is capable of adding a crib and a roll-away bed. My B & B has two separate bedrooms; however, I never rent to others during one's stay unless they are family, friends or relatives.

Aloha 2 is a smaller room with a queen bed and is used for families or many guests that know one another.
