Area Attractions and Activities:

The Charles Street Inn is located in the heart of downtown Boston. World-famous attractions such as the Boston Common, Public Garden, Faneuil Hall, the Esplanade, Freedom Trail, antique shops on Charles Street, MGH, the Theatre District, Chinatown, and boutique shops on Newbury Street are all just a short walk away.

Harvard, Fenway Park, the U.S.S. Constitution, JFK Library, MIT, Boston University and Boston College are all easily reached by subway - catch the red line or green line, they're just two blocks away!

Our personal favorite is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It is a Venetian-style palazzo right next to the Museum of Fine Arts in Back Bay. Every room is loaded with amazing Italian and Northern European Rennaisance art and the garden in the central atrium is absolutely gorgeous. Without question the best place to visit in Boston on a rainy day.

Most Popular Rooms:

Henry James (2B): Romantic antique gold, forest green, and regal purple color scheme with 13' ceiling, a plaster ceiling medallion, a 19K gold gilt mirror, and a handpainted gold on black king canopy bed create the ultimate Victorian elegance.

Our five king rooms are named after famous men from Boston's Victorian era, and our four queen rooms are named after famous women. Each room has a fireplace and private bath with Jacuzzi tub. Three rooms have canopy beds, one king room has two queen beds.
