Bed and Breakfast Description

Snowed Inn is nestled on two plus acres in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from Palmer and Wasilla. Our guests enjoy a full scrumptious breakfast served in the dining area. Complimentary juice, bottled water, and soda are available to our guests. You have access to dishes, silver, cups and glasses. There is a microwave with popcorn available for you as well. The coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and hot cider are available throughout the day. Our desire is that your stay at Snowed Inn be as comfortable as possible.

Between the suites, you will find a common area. You can snuggle up with a good book, play games, or do a puzzle.

This is the perfect base if you are traveling to Talkeetna, Whittier, Anchorage, or the Matanuska Glacier.

Area Attractions and Activities:

If salmon fishing is on your itinerary, book an excursion on the Little Susitna River or dip your line in one of several streams just north of the Inn. Experience the Iditarod Race Headquarters, walk on the Matanuska Glacier, go flight-seeing from Talkeetna for awesome views of Denali, enjoy the thrill of skydiving not far from the Inn.

Visit the Musk Ox Farm, feed the reindeer at the Reindeer Farm, plus river rafting, horseback riding, hiking, jet boat trips and much more a short drive from the Inn. If you enjoy golf, there are golf courses close by. The Alaska Club, a complete work out facility, is just minutes away. Wasilla sports complex offers an indoor track, hockey games, seasonal trade shows and activities year round.

Palmer and Wasilla have parks for the children, a skate park, Veteran's Memorial Park and many walking/bike trails, as well as great shopping and fine dining.

The Lighthouse Suite: Has a private balcony, private bath, and a cozy sitting area. You will find a queen bed as well as a double bed in your room, perfect for a family. The nautical themed room will make you feel as though you are at the ocean.
