The Swallow's Nest affords travelers the opportunity to sojourn to a private country retreat on Vashon Island. There are 7 charming cottages in 3 separate locations each furnished in a comfortable & warm manner, some with views.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Swallow's Nest is a 10-15 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle, Tacoma, or the Olympic Peninsula. It affords travelers the opportunity to sojourn in a peaceful, country retreat. Seven charming cottages in three separate locations are furnished in a comfortable, warm, manner with plants, a rocking or arm chair, television, light cooking facilities, books, magazines, and a supply of tea, cocoa and fresh coffee. Two of the cottages have magnificent views of Mount Rainier and the Puget Sound.

For sports enthusiasts, there is the Sportsmen's Club as well as hunting and fishing. Golfers will find the Vashon Country Club course and it's annual tournaments a delight.

Each cottage is furnished with plants, a rocking or arm chair, television, light cooking facilities, books, magazines, and a supply of tea, cocoa and fresh coffee. Two of the cottages have a magnificent view of Mount Rainier and the Puget Sound.

Next to the Swallow's Nest main office is our delightful hot tub surrounded by a beautiful deck. This is a great place to relax after your daily activities.

The Nest: Meticulously detailed, 1 bedroom country cottage with loveseat-swing on front porch. Magnificent view of Puget Sound, Cascade Mtns., Mt. Rainier from Adirondak chairs out front. Hot tub on deck.

Blue Jay: Two bedroom cottage with a queen in one bedroom and a double in the other. There's a bathroom with shower. The pine panelled living room with its hide-a-bed couch, cozy arm chair and TV, adjoins a full kitchen and dining bar. Patio.
