Guests are amazed when they first enter Provincetown's most unique guesthouse—the Brass Key—a cozy retreat in the center of all the action just a half-block from Commercial Street. The property has forty-two guestrooms in six 18th & 19th Century houses and three cottages.

This exclusive compound presents an atmosphere of discreet luxury, including gorgeous guestrooms with elegant, comfortable furnishings. Ten rooms with gas fireplaces, nine with whirlpool baths, three with private decks, and all with Bose radios and TV/DVDs.

The buildings surround terraced brick courtyards and impeccably manicured gardens ablaze with color—tulips, forsythia, azalea, annuals in decorative bronze urns and hanging baskets, and specimen shrubs including boxwood and topiaries. In addition, we've added two new suites this fall: the Cabana Suite and the Penthouse Suite. A sophisticated martini lounge, the Shipwreck Lounge, has also been added to the main lobby.

Chaise lounges, umbrella-shaded tables, furnished cabana and a whimsical bright red English phone box are artfully arranged around the heated cascading pool and 10x15-foot in-ground whirlpool spa.

Offering a sumptuous continental breakfast, meticulous twice-daily housekeeping, poolside lemonade and iced-tea service, fine wines, beers, cheese and crudités trays served for an hour each evening, turn down service with gourmet chocolates, and a professional and gracious staff, has made the Brass Key the place to stay in Provincetown.
