Bed and Breakfast Description

Offers some of the finest lodging in the Mt Rainier region. Quality accommodations and personal attention, along with the country setting, create a mood of rest and relaxation. A perfect setting for small weddings, elopements, reunions and events.

Built in 1912, a romantic, historic Victorian with 12 guest rooms, the inn retains its historic charm and character while still providing modern amenities. Antique armoires and beds, European stained glass windows, quality linens.

Alexander's large hotel parlor is both inviting and comfortable. Overnight guests gather 'round the fireplace with a glass of wine, some fresh fruit, a good book. Alexander's hot tub sits along the edge of Trout Pond. A new media room with comfortable leather couches and big screen TV/DVDs/Cable. A leisurely and delicious breakfast is served in the restaurant.

Alexander's Restaurant is open to the public. Our moderately priced menu feature the finest meals in the Mt. Rainier area, with special emphasis on fresh local and regional foods.

Two self-catered vacation rentals, the Forest House and The Chalet, provide the spaciousness of home and all the amenities of a hotel. Each sleeps 6, and offer gas fireplaces, full kitchens. Children welcome. Daily lodging rate includes a Continental breakfast basket.

Just one mile from Mt. Rainier National Park Nisqually Entrance. Technical mountain climbing, backpacking, day hikes, walks with park rangers, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. During the summer, endless fields of beautiful and fragrant wildflowers. Photography, birdwatching, biking, picnicking.

In Ashford, Mount Tacoma Trail Association has the most extensive cross-country ski trail system in the US, no fee. Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad in Elbe. Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville. Explore Mt. St. Helen's National Volcano Monument. Alexander's staff is happy to provide updated information and suggestions to help you plan your itinerary.
