The Old Brick Inn is a Saint Michaels, Maryland tradition. Made up of 3 unique and historic buildings, each with its own character and ambiance, we are sure to satisfy the most discerning traveler! We are located in downtown St. Michaels, within easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants.

Each of our rooms has its own private bath, many with Jacuzzis, and most with fireplaces (and all of the buildings are equipped with free wireless internet!). Our luxurious King and Queen size beds are just what you need for a perfect night of sound sleep!

Every morning you are greeted by aromas of a delicious homemade breakfast, served at cozy tables for two.

Indulge yourself in the exquisite French Country. This beautiful room features an extravagant king bed, exposed brick walls and floors, and a double jacuzzi tub for two.

Reservation Notes:

Please review our policies and information carefully to make certain there are no misunderstandings. All guests must review the room descriptions to have full knowledge of the location and pricing of their room prior to making an online reservation at The Old Brick Inn. Any changes made in your reservation, either before or upon your arrival, due to room location or any other reason, may result in additional cost and availability of other rooms cannot be guaranteed. Please plan to check-in after 3pm and before 6 pm Eastern Standard Time. Earlier or later check-ins must be prearranged with the innkeeper. We use the time between check out at 11:00 and check in at 3:00 to clean the rooms and the Inn, in order to fully enjoy your experience with us, we ask that you abide by our check in times, early check in times are not available. However, you are more than welcome to leave your car in the parking lot and explore St. Michaels before check-in. Check-out is by 11:00 am, additional fees of $50.00 per hour may be assessed for late check-outs with authorization from the Innkeepers. Cancellations:  The total nights required to meet minimum stays are billed as one unit and the full charge for the reservation will be made if the room(s) are not re-rented or even if the stay is shortened, before or during your stay. Regardless of when you cancel your room a $10.00 per room/ per night charge may be accessed upon cancellation. This policy is strictly enforced regardless of circumstances. If you cancel or alter your reservation in any way more than 14 days in advance (for one room) or more than 30 days for multiple rooms (up to 4 rooms, over 4 rooms is considered a full house booking - even if the rooms are held under individual credit cards), we offer a full refund of any deposit. Full house bookings require a minimum cancellation notice of 60 days. If you cancel or alter your reservation in any way inside the cancellation policy indicated, we offer a refund only if all rooms are re-rented for the entire length of your reservation. Cancellations are NOT accepted by email or through a message on the phone; you must call and speak with the innkeeper to cancel a reservation. In the event of a cancellation a confirmation number will be issued to you - this number will be your only verification in the event of a cancellation, so make sure that you ask for this number. No call/no shows are billed for the full stay. We require a two night stay when your stay includes a Friday or Saturday night, holidays that fall on either Friday or Monday MAY require a three night minimum stay. We encourage you to call us to see if we might have availability for one night, we are occasionally able to honor a single night stay on weekends. Please also give us a call to help you arrange for any special requests that you may have. Rates and policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and for some special requests. Internet booking policies: We reserve the right to reject online reservations that do not comply with our policies as listed below. Please note that on weekends when we are hosting our wine dinners - we ONLY accept reservations at the Old Brick Inn, for those guests who will be attending our dinners, all other reservations will be rejected. If you are staying at the Kemp House, you do not have to attend the dinner, although you may if you so choose. Those weekends are: January 26th & 27th, April 27th & 28th. We encourage to make your reservation online AND to call us to answer any questions that you may have regarding your room choice and the Old Brick Inn. General Policies Deposits: We reserve the right to take a 50% deposit (or a minimum of 1 night )at the time of booking for all reservations. A deposit is may also be required for bookings that include a package or are made within our cancellation period or do not meet or minimum stay requirements, these reservations are not subject to cancellation. Full house Bookings or Multi-room Bookings. We charge a housekeeping fee of $10.00 per room, minimum charge of $50.00, for multi room or full house bookings. We suggest that the host of the party pay this fee, however it may be passed on to your guests if you prefer. This fee is to cover the additional cost of cleaning after large parties leave. Occupancy: Very few of our rooms are suitable for occupancy by more than 2 adults, should you arrive with an additional person (including infants & children) you will not be allowed to stay in a room with one bed. If we do not have a room with two beds available, you will not be allowed to stay and your card will be charged for the full amount of your stay. If we do have an appropriate room available there will be an additional charged accessed of $25.00 per person, per night (including infants & children). If you are traveling with an infant or child, you must tell us when you make your reservation, we do not generally allow children under five and we do not have high chairs, booster seats or cribs available. Breakfast: A delicious breakfast is served for our guests. At The Old Brick Inn we serve: yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries and an entrée dish. At The Kemp House a full breakfast will be served to your room on Saturdays and Sundays and at the main building Monday - Friday. If you are lactose intolerant - we ask that you bring along a box of soy milk. If you have other food allergies please let us know before your arrival and we'll be happy to accommodate you. You may use the notes area as you make your reservation to let us know how we can best serve you. All rooms are air conditioned, all rooms have private baths, the rooms all have wireless internet service and a telephone is also available in the lobby, rooms do not have individual phones. All rooms have televisions and cable TV. Our facilities are for the use of registered guests only. We respectfully ask that you do not allow friends or family members to use the shower or tub in your room or the hot tub and swimming pool. A minimum fee of $125.00 per person will be charged to your credit card for non- registered guest use of facilities at the Old Brick Inn, and your reservation may be terminated. Kemp House guests may not have pool or hot tub privileges if the main building is reserved by a private party. No smoking is allowed inside any of our buildings, we do access cleaning charges (a minimum of $250.00) for smoking within the rooms or buildings. Due to safety concerns and fire code regulations candles are not allowed. Location: Our address is 401 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels, MD 21663 (Rt 33). we are located in downtown St. Michaels on the corner of Talbot & Mulberry Streets. Parking is on the gravel lot in front of the Inn on Mulberry Street. Registration is located in the building fronting on Talbot Street. Come through the courtyard (facing Mulberry Street), the entrance is to your right. Forms of Payment: We accept cash, travelers checks, Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. In addition, gift certificates are available for purchase.
