The Governor's House

Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Built in 1917, this stately Georgian colonial was the home of NH Governor Charles Dale where, from 1930 to 1964, he welcomed local, national, and international dignitaries. Today the inn offers an atmosphere of casual elegance to discriminating travelers.
