Your hosts, Maureen and Ed Kuka, have combined the unique beauty of natural desert surroundings with traditional at-home warmth and nostalgia of antiques, quilts, dolls and cradles, and other well-loved treasures of days gone by.

Start your day with a substantial continental breakfast weekdays and home cooked on the weekend. Homemade breads/muffins available every day. Relax in the outdoor comfort of a charming Southwest veranda, or watch a movie, or curl up with an engrossing book in the comfortable living room.

Area Attractions and Activities:

We will be happy to arrange for jeep tours, horseback riding or hayrides, and tee times at any of the surrounding golf courses (discount coupons are usually available for the Rancho Manana Golf Course).

Enjoy hiking, water rafting, ballooning, tennis, jeep tours, visit the wild west town of Rawhide or indulge in a cowboy cookout, all available nearby. Browse the many unique antique stores and gift shops in the old western town of Cave Creek (settled in 1870) or shop the upscale fashion boutiques and art galleries of downtown Scottsdale.

Tour the surrounding area on day trips to the Red Rocks of Sedona and the art galleries in the old mining town of Jerome. For the adventurous, visit Arizona's spectacular Grand Canyon.

Owl's Nest Room: Relaxation and comfort await you in the antique queen bed with plenty of room for all your belongings in the accompanying dresser and chest. This second story room also boasts a private bath.
