![]() The Hummingbird Inn sits in a little railroad town, just a short drive from Lexington, Staunton, and Warm Springs. Drive through mountain passes to reach the inn - Goshen Pass, Buffalo Gap, or Panther Gap. When you get here, relax in one of our spacious common rooms - the rustic den, the comfortable living room, or the sunny solarium. Porches and verandas surround the house for lovely views of the gardens. Stroll down to the deck overlooking Mill Creek, a wide trout stream. A train will surely pass by during your stay, adding to the wonderful feel of nostalgia. A full country breakfast is served daily and starts with fresh fruits, a hot breakfast entrée, and homemade breads and coffee cakes. Our eggs are from local free-range chickens. We will happily accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and special diets, if informed at the time of reservation. Early-rising coffee drinkers will find plenty of freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee, and there is always a variety of teas from which to choose.
