You can be as active as you want to be, spending your days relaxing at the inn or exploring the mountains, valleys, and towns of Rockbridge County and beyond. You might want to take a picnic down to Goshen Pass, a spectacular rocky gorge created by the Maury River. The Pass was used by pioneers seeking passage from the Shenandoah Valley to the Alleghany Mountains, and you can trace their path to Goshen along Route 39. Bring a fishing pole and catch some trout, or wear your bathing suit for a dip in Indian Pool. A long weekend will just give you a taste of all the area has to offer – but you’re welcome to come back again to see some of the things you missed! We offer Shenandoah Valley lodging at its best for a relaxing getaway close to mountains, farm land, historic towns, and the great outdoors.
