Red Wing, Minnesota's Moondance Inn Bed and Breakfast is a Minneapolis Star Tribune favorite "most romantic B&Bs in Minnesota." Our B&B is conveniently located to all downtown Red Wing shops and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the banks of the Mississippi River.

Public space is plentiful at the Moondance Inn Bed and Breakfast. Hike the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River and view one of the largest wintering grounds for bald eagles in the U.S. The Red Wing area is a haven for birds with many species to observe. Downhill ski just 15 minutes from our Inn and cross-country ski even closer to the Inn. Visit our local historic museum or tour local vineyards. Drive the Great River Road designated as one of America's premier scenic routes. Pack a picnic lunch and walk to a Mississippi River park. Enjoy a movie at our local state of the art theatre complex.

Most Popular Rooms:

King's Room: Large with grand king 4 poster bed & crushed gold satin bed curtains. Antique walnut furnishings from the 1850's and 1870's, beautiful sitting area, pictures of great sailing ships decorate the walls. Full private bath w/2 person whirlpool.

Garden Suite: Meditate on the vibrant garden views and then relax in your private whirlpool room that features an original tin ceiling from 1874. This suite is decorated in blue and gold with numerous art pieces on the walls.

Reservation Notes:

Once a reservation is made should you cancel at any time there is a $25.00 re-booking fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to your 3pm check in time on the day of arrival we will charge the full amount of the room to your credit card.
