Sugar Loaf Hill B&B
Wakefield, Rhode Island.
Sugar Loaf Hill Bed and Breakfast is nestled on 1-1/2 acres in a charming historic area, peacefully surrounded by stone walls, hollies, rhododendrons, and large shade trees.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Guest accommodations have been supplemented with modern baths for guests' comfort. Three rooms, all with private baths, are available with twin, queen, or king beds and specially appointed amenities. A relaxing front porch which stretches along the length of the house beckons you to relax in one of its rocking chairs.
Guests enjoy a hearty, full country breakfast each morning, served at 8:15 a.m. Enjoy a well-blended cup of coffee and a delicious entree to accompany lively conversation and a generous helping of hospitality. For guests on the go, a continental breakfast is available from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., providing a sampling of your breakfast favorites. A guest refrigerator and freezer are available in the barn.
The back of the house, built in 1720, served as an original farmhouse for much of the surrounding acreage. In the mid-1800s, the much larger main house, styled in the Federal tradition, was added in the front. Six of the eight original fireplaces remain in use, including three that are delightfully shared by guests in the dining room, living room, and parlor.
The Inn is within an easy stroll of Wakefield village, resplendent with quaint shops, churches, and a variety of restaurants from pubs to fine dining, as well as a new riverwalk and bike path.
