Located in the heart of the Charleston historic district, on the historic Charleston Battery, the Inn is within just a few blocks of fine dining, the Old Market, museums, antique stores, and great shopping.

Famous plantations are a short drive away, area beaches and golf are also available. Beautiful art galleries are nearby, and King Street antique stores are a short walk away. The Inn is near all Spoleto Festival venues, and central to house and garden tours.

Our full breakfast and afternoon tea are delightful to enjoy on our wrap-around porches, in our courtyard, formal dining room or the privacy of their room. In the winter months, guests are refreshed by hot cider and are warmed by a fire in our parlor fireplace.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Spell Room - Premier Victorian room featured in "Southern Living Magazine". A lovely room overlooking S. Battery features a queen canopied bed, private bathroom, fireplace, large bay window, hardwood floors,and access to semi-private verandah.

Williams Room - Premier Victorian room is a favorite honeymoon choice, with private balcony overlooking courtyard, queen canopied bed, working fireplace, hardwood floors, & Victorian bath with a clawfoot tub & European handheld shower. A charming room!
