Bed and Breakfast Description

The Inn offers 5 attractive, beautifully furnished rooms, each with cable television; all have private baths. The Honeymoon Suite offers a king sized bed and a Double Jacuzzi for 2 for a truly luxurious getaway.

Enjoy a Delicious Hearty Hot Full Breakfast in our Tea Room, which is in the same building as our charming accommodations. Our Tea Room is open for Dinner on Friday and Saturday night from 5-8pm Reservations are requested, it can also be reserved for private lunch and dinner parties.

The Old Red Barn is very special, a still rustic place where yesteryear seems very close, but every comfort and convenience is offered to make an overnight stay enjoyable. Through a bedroom window or the window of the Tea Room, ducks can be seen swimming on the shimmering pond, just a few feet away.

Browse through our Gift Shop where many unique items handcrafted by the Amish may be found. All of the Amish dolls we sell here are handmade by the local Amish women. We have a wonderful selection of Amish made jams, jellies, butters, dolls, Amish books, prints, lye soap, BBQ sauce, sorghum and much more. Our facilities are available for weddings, receptions and other group events including business meetings. Please call for special pricing on these events.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Located in a large Amish community of over 2000. Spend the day visiting different Amish shops. We are 10 minutes from the home of Almonzo and Laura Ingalls Wilder. This is where all the Little House books were written. Take a tour of their home, then visit the Gift Shop and Museum.

Just 30 minutes from Springfield Missouri for great night life and entertainment. Springfield is also the home of the famous Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The multi-million dollar Wildlife Museum, located next to the Bass Pro Shop Outdoor World.

Branson Missouri is only a 60 mile drive; millions of people flock to this town every year. It is known to some as the gaining Country Music Capital of the world. Also nearby, we have a 9 mile Drive through Exotic Animal Park, as well as Fantastic Caverns (a drive through guided tour). You will love it! We also have a Restaurant that is open on Friday and Saturday from 5pm til 8pm Reservations are requested.We also have a new winery that opened 2 years ago.

Most Popular Rooms:

Our most popular room at the Inn is the Honeymoon Suite. It is a beautifully furnished room, with a huge king size bed. Also located just 5 feet away is a built-in whirlpool for two. It has its own private bath as well as cable TV and a VCR.

My favorite room is Laura Ingalls Wilder Room. It is decorated with cherry furnishings and pink and white bedding and accents. It has a 4 poster queen size bed, hardwood floors, its own private bath, and cable TV.
