![]() The Lodge is owned by a Montana Outfitter and Guide, Steve Gamble, who spent 20 years guiding in Yellowstone National Park and southwest Montana. His staff of 18 provides professional service to guests year-round. Our location is the best for experiencing southwest Montana. We are close to Yellowstone as well as the famous trout rivers nearby: Gallatin, Madison, Yellowstone, and Missouri. We also offer wedding and conference services on the property. We've successfully catered weddings with up to 300 guests on our lawn and grounds. There are several great alpine ski areas nearby, Big Sky, Bridger Bowl, Moonlight Basin and the Yellowstone Club. Nordic centers nearby are Lone Mountain Ranch, BoHart Ranch and when the snow allows: our own property. We have the reputation from the local residents as one of the best restaurants in the state of Montana. We have won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for five years now and also offer a top-shelf bar. We provide local products on our menu including lamb, natural beef, fresh seafood and local produce. Seasonally, we offer wine dinners, Christmas parties in our three dining rooms and even outdoor events including sleigh rides and fly fishing on our trout pond We are close to Bozeman's airport (BZN) and provide free airport shuttles. Our fly fishing includes 2 miles of the blue-ribbon Gallatin River just a short walk across our hay meadows. Float trips on the Madison, Yellowstone and Misouri are nearby. Area Attractions and Activities: Six trout rivers, Yellowstone Park, Bridger Bowl and Big Sky Ski areas. Fly fishermen and women from around the world travel to southwest Montana for its exceptional fishing opportunities. Fishing options are endless, but we offer a popular combination to our fishing guests that includes floating and wading. We also have Yellowstone National Park nearby and Teton National Park. Virginia City, a restored gold mining town, Lewis and Clark Caverns, and plenty of incredible mountain scenery are right out our door. Fly fishing is our passion and we offer excellent guides year-round. Alpine and Nordic Skiing are nearby. Bozeman is a progressive college town with an interesting downtown offering great shopping and lots of Montana character. We are on a 300 acre horse ranch, right on the Gallatin River. There are nice walking trails to the river for our guests. We have lots of neighbors including whitetail deer, herons, osprey, eagles, sandhill cranes, mink, otter and muskrats. A king or queen sized bed, settle, beautiful fir floors, Tiffany lamps, gas fireplaces and western artwork adorn each suite. |
