Bed and Breakfast Description

At this B&B, affectionately dubbed Club Sharon by former guests, you might be served lox 'n' bagels with all the fixin's one day, artichoke/sundried tomato quiche, tamale pie, or blintz souffle with blueberry sauce the next. Always available: eggs, breakfast meats, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, coffee, tea, milk, chai, juices, fresh fruit. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and hot fudge sundaes a specialty.

Breakfast amid the gleaming black lacquer and Chinese teakwood furnishings of the mountain view dining room. Or enjoy an al fresco repast at a colorful poolside umbrella table. Our B&B is suitable for most chemically sensitive (MCS) guests and we accomodate guests with special diets.

For outdoor relaxation, there's a Jacuzzi, king size hammock, swinging canvas "sky chair", padded chaises poolside, and a raft for floating sunbaths. Indoors, call "first dibs" on the luxurious living room chaise with prime view of activity at the hummingbird and seed feeders.

Kids and sports-minded adults will enjoy ping pong, mini-tramp, dumb bells, TV/DVD/VCR, games, inflatable Aerobed, and comfy LaZboy recliner and sectional that opens to queen bed in rec room.

If you must work while on vacation, there's DSL and wireless Internet, IMAC computer, printer, FAX for guest use.

Nearby is the posh American International Golf club, Tanque Verde Falls, Saguaro East National Park, Mt. Lemmon, Sabino Canyon (with narrated tram ride and hiking trails), tennis courts, recreation center with outdoor concerts in spring and fall.

B&B is two miles from a shopping center with public library, post office, supermarket, coffee shop, and restaurants, 12 miles from the University of Arizona, 17 miles to the airport, and 16 miles from downtown. Nearby is a 300 acre fitness/tennis/swim club with on-site daycare and inexpensive discounted rates for our guests.

"Must see" Tucson area attractions: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, San Xavier Mission, historic Tubac art colony, Nogales, Mexico (fun shopping, inexpensive RX drugs), Bisbee (old copper mining town), Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, Reid Park Zoo, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Tohono Chul Park.

Inn has a binder and basket full of brochures, articles, hiking guides, maps, and menus of recommended restaurants.

Living room: A quiet retreat. Aesthetically furnished w/antique, Chinese and contemporary furniture, Chinese rugs, Native American, African, European, and Asian art. Vintage record player, a wall of books and cabinet full of games and "oldies" records.

King bedroom: Beautyrest pillowtop mattress with walnut and brass armoire and mirrored wall. Antique hallstand holds terry robes. Mexican handcarved dresser, reclining wingback chair, Chinese rug, TV/VCR, phone, private bath. Access to patio, pool/spa.
