![]() Named in honor of Claude Bragdon, the architect who designed the home, and built in 1907 for Geneva's Mayor Thomas Hoskins. We would like to invite you to spend your holiday in historical upstate New York, enjoying our unique Bed & Breakfast experience. We have customized our home to provide you with optimal comfort and privacy. All accommodations from queen sized beds, decorative fireplaces, private baths, air-conditioning, cable television/DVD player and gorgeous lake views. The first and second floors are dedicated to your comfort and pleasure. There are two parlors to enjoy a good book or music. The formal parlor has big overstuffed chairs and sofa to curl up in, while the cozy veranda has breath taking views. Guests have access to all the amenities of our unique historic home. As part of your stay, a bathrobe, slippers and a fresh towel is provided to each guest. The Bragdon House is a small, well positioned B&B, located in the heart of Geneva within minutes walk to Hobart Collage, local shops, restaurants and pubs. Our modern well equipped rooms meet all the wants and needs while maintaining the charm of yesterday and the comforts of today. After sleeping in one of our beautifully decorated bedroom suites, a delicious gourmet breakfast awaits in our dining room overlooking Seneca Lake's Western shore. We are in walking distance to downtown Geneva (shops, restaurants, and Hobart and William Smith College) in the beautiful historic district. Other Geneva attractions include sailboat races, college sports, bowling alleys, theaters, boat tours and charters, antique and specialty shops, nearby Walkin's Glen and thoroughbred races, farmers markets, flea markets and many area festivals throughout the year. Geneva is also the perfect place to begin your tour of the Finger Lakes wine trails, with 36 wineries surrounding Seneca Lake. The Finger Lakes Region boasts 88 wineries with vineyards covering over 10,000 acres.
