The Irish Rose is a wonderful Craftsman home located in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1902, the inn has two guest rooms available. They are named after the Proprietor's children Michael and Kimberly. The rooms are located on the second floor of the home affording guests privacy while at the same time being part of the main structure. The cottage is adjacent to the Irish Rose.

Michael's room has a king-size bed and private bath with a separate walk-in shower and a spa tub. Kimberly's room has a queen-size bed and private bath with a spa tub and shower overhead.

"Chateau Margi" is a one bedroom cottage adjacent to The Irish Rose Inn with a kitchen family room combo.

"First Crush" is a two bedroom two bath cottage adjacent to the Irish Rose. It has a fireplace and kitchen. It too is available for rental.

Chris, the innkeeper, serves a full breakfast each morning of your stay. You may specify the time between the hours of 7:30 am and 9:00 am.

Relax on the porch in the afternoon before heading off to dinner. Your host serves a light appetizer of cheese and crackers.

Your innkeeper will also be happy to help you with the following services; massage reservations, balloon ride reservations, winery tours, and dinner reservations.

The Healdsburg area is a wonderful place to relax. Founded in the mid 1800's by farmers and gold miners, Healdsburg's climate is mild year round. Summers are dry with temperatures in the 70's and 80's and cool evenings, perfect for a walk in the country.

The town is abundant with great restaurants with menus for every taste. Of course being in the wine country, there are many wonderful wineries to visit including Alexander Valley, Chalk Hill, Dry Creek Valley, and Russian River Valley.

Lake Sonoma is a short distance down Dry Creek Road to the West. The Healdsburg square has a number of interesting shops to visit.
