The Saratoga Farmstead appeals to guests who wish for a peaceful home away from home, while enjoying all the activities that the busy city of Saratoga Springs offers. Located 2 1/2 miles from city center, the chef-owned farmstead seems like it is in an altogether different world.

All guest rooms have been recently refurbished and decorated individually. The bright, sunny guest rooms look out upon pastoral views. All have private bathrooms, ceiling fans and individual climate controls, providing year-round comfort.

The Front Parlor is warmed by sunlight from the bay window and a Victorian gas stove and is furnished with comfortable antique furniture, antique pump organ and books on many subjects. Complimentary drinks and snacks are available here.

The Kitchen/Sunroom is the center of this casual, country experience. Dining tables overlook the fields and gardens, a perfect spot to enjoy the morning meal. Breakfast is carefully prepared and guests find the food is original as well as first-rate.

Outside, wonderful walking trails have been cut through the pastures and gardens. Decks and porches are also welcoming. Peace and quiet, comfort and hospitality with a close proximity to all that Saratoga has to offer, these are the words that best describe our guests' experience at The Saratoga Farmstead.

The Saratoga Farmstead is 5 minutes away from Saratoga Race Course, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Skidmore College, Saratoga Mineral Baths and Spa, state and national parks, great golf courses, world-class polo, various museums and galleries, wonderful restaurants and shops. Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains are just a short drive from the farmstead, as is Albany, the capital of New York State.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Saratoga Room is decorated with hand-made furniture and comfortable wing chairs. An antique fireplace adds to the room's charm. Also, a private entry onto the recently restored front porch and private parking make this room a favorite of our guests.

The Adirondack Room is a rustic, outdoorsy room with birch bark wall paper, wooden shutters, old fashioned quilts and caned rocking chair. The theme is carried into the large bathroom with double walk-in shower.
