Home Port
Peconic, New York.
Come relax with us!! Home Port is surrounded by 13 acres of park property, offering a walking or running track that takes you by to wine vineyards, and 6 tennis courts that are yours to use day or evening!
Bed and Breakfast Description

The Sound beaches are rockier and cooler, with shifts in tides providing waves and tide pools to swim in and explore. We can even direct you to a favorite spot where you can ride the current from an inlet right into the Sound. We provide guidance, beach passes and towels for all our guests.
And when it’s time to take it easy right here, stroll Home Port’s lush grounds. The trees flower gardens have been established and tended with great care for decades, and provide an elegantly relaxing setting for your special time away. Or, park yourself with a good book on our front porch hammock under the shade of the mammoth French weeping beech tree planted in 1873. Cushy porch furniture, crystal wine glasses and set-ups are all yours throughout your visit to Home Port’s Wine Country!
Only at Home Port B&B - complimentary tickets to The Tasting Room.
Your hosts, Peter and Cheryl Castiglione have been in the service and hospitality business for over 30 years. They look forward to pampering you during your North Fork experience.

Area Attractions and Activities:
With 10 or so wine tasting rooms within a 2 mile radius of us, Home Port B&B is actually situated on one of the most charming streets on the North Fork. A quick stroll on Peconic Lane will take you to Ackerly Pond Vineyard’s tasting room, and to The Tasting Room, which features the wine of 5 award-winning boutique vineyards. Next to the Tasting Room, you’ll find Peconic Baking Company’s café, with sweets and lunches to take with you on a beach or vineyard picnic, or to enjoy in the company of the charismatic owners. Or, visit White Flower Farm Antiques, with furniture and décor items from times past (and prices to match, by the way!)
Of course, the beaches are a draw for active or passive enjoyment…The beaches on Peconic Bay are sandy and the water is very warm (like the Caribbean by August).
Most Popular Rooms:
The Rose Room is a spacious area once used as an artist's studio, and was later converted to the master bedroom. The decorative fireplace in this room is original to the house and the furnishings reflect the Victorian tone.
Welcome to the Cottage Room, our freshest addition to Home Port. Enter through your own private entrance and enjoy the Queen size bed, spacious area, fridge and microwave and private bath all within the suite.
