Originally a two room cabin, built to house a widow & her 11 children, the Inn was renovated in the 1920s and sits on a half-acre surrounded by a white picket fence. Conveniently close to historic uptown Westerville for shopping & fun.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Today, this one-time log cabin sits on a half acre lot with perennial gardens, an herb garden, a fish pond and many bird feeders all fringed by a white picket fence. Inside the house, you will find antiques, and quiet places for reading or relaxing.

This wonderful setting, adjacent to the campus of Otterbein College, is surrounded by Alum Creek Park and is within walking distance to historic Uptown Westerville.

Come, sit down and start your morning with a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa. Share stories and enjoy chilled juice and a fruit plate. Sigh with pleasure over Oatmeal Pancakes and Brenda's own Cider Syrup. End your breakfast by remembering to take your chocolate favor resting beside your plate. Dietary restrictions/preferences honored.

Business travelers will enjoy wireless Internet, fax/copier on site, and a relaxing beverage in the evening.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Westerville is a great place to shop, enjoy an ice cream, or a coffee at ourlocal coffee shop. Take a walk in the many parks or ride a bike along our bikepaths. Shop 'til you drop in Uptown, Polaris Fashion Center or Easton.

Museums / Galleries--If you enjoy the past, Westerville has a rich history and heritage. Four National Register of Historical Places are within walking distance; Ohio Historical Society's Benjamin Hanby House State Memorial, Towers Hall on the Otterbein Campus, Everal Farm Buildings at Heritage Park, and the Otterbein Mausoleum. You might choose to stop by the Anti-Saloon League Museum and discover why Westerville is known to many as the 'Dry Capital of the World'.

Nature Preserves / Trails--You may decide to visit any of the many City of Westerville Parks or one of the three nearby Metro Parks: Blendon Woods which includes the Walden Waterfowl Refuge observation shelter; Sharon Woods includes the 3.8 mile bike/jogging trail and Schrock Lake.
