Bed and Breakfast Description

Rio Villa is a quiet place on a beautiful river. A place to relax and watch nature work her miracles.
The osprey watches the river from his perch in the towering redwood. The view from the deck is imposing. Take in a breath and relax with the view of the peaceful river, and the steep hills covered in redwoods. The resort is an inviting village setting adjacent to the banks of the Russian River, located near the town's bridge in Monte Rio.

The public beach is next door where canoes and kayaks may be rented, and a concession stand is open during the season. This quaint villa offers a variety of accommodations for couples, families and persons traveling on business who seek to stay on the Russian River.

Every day of the week, a continental breakfast of coffee cakes, breads, muffins, fresh fruit, juices and fresh brewed coffee is served in our quaint office; and at dusk, warm gatherings beneath the redwoods by the outdoor fireplace provide a cozy and friendly atmosphere for visiting.

From wineries to giant redwoods, from pastures and orchards to rolling hills and rugged coastline, Sonoma County is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty.

Most Popular Rooms:

Balcony Suites: The Balcony Suites are two separate rooms - a bedroom and a full kitchen. The bedrooms have either a king or queen size bed. The kitchens are well-stocked with dishes, silverware and cooking utensils.

Two-bedroom Villa Suites: Have two separate rooms, each with one queen size bed. All have cable TV, phone, a small fridge, coffeemaker, and private bath, some with tub-shower.

Reservation Notes:

Reservation Deposit: Reservations must be secured by a deposit of one night's lodging in advance by credit card. The balance is due upon check-in. Cancellations: To receive a deposit refund, a 7 day notice is required. A $20 processing fee will be charged on all cancellations. A 30 day notice of cancellation is required for holidays, special events, and reservations made more than 3 months in advance.
