 From the afternoon social hour to the delicious full breakfast, we want your stay to be an enjoyable one. Dinsmore House guests enjoy a full breakfast each morning. Everyday our menu includes fruit salad, homemade granola, yogurt, fresh bread, coffee, tea and juice. A hot dish accompanies the meal and varies daily. Area Attractions and Activities: The Dinsmore House has the ideal location for your Charlottesville plans. Situated on "The Corner" the inn is a short walk from dozens of quaint restaurants and shops. We are one block from the University of Virginia and less than a mile from Charlottesville's historic downtown mall. Thomas Jefferson's Monticello is five miles away and the inn is a short drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, numerous wineries and the Skyline Drive. Services: Pool, hot tub, fitness center, beautiful brick courtyard, wrap-around windows, atmosphere. Most Popular Rooms: Jefferson Suite: The bedroom features an inviting king-sized canopy bed. Depending on which of the four windows guests look out, they are provided with views of Main Street or the courtyard. Dinsmore Room: We won't give you the exact dimensions of the room, but let's just say it manages to dwarf the king-sized, hand-carved, mahogany canopy bed. The room has a cozy sitting area and a claw-foot soaking tub in the bath. Check In Instructions: Guests arriving after 7pm please call ahead at 1-877-882-7829 to make arrangements for check in.
