The house is furnished with antiques throughout and has central heat and air conditioning. The beautifully decorated public areas on the main floor consist of a large TV room with a working fireplace, large living/sitting room, dining room, and covered front porch furnished with wicker - the perfect spot to enjoy the breezes and the passers-by.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with fresh fruit and flowers in their room. Afternoon snack and beverage are available at cocktail hour.

Each morning, guests wake up to find freshly brewed coffee or tea delivered outside their room. A complete breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the front porch. To start, a fresh fruit course is accompanied with breakfast breads or muffins, followed by a hot entree.

As an added convenience bicycles are available, along with beach towels, chairs and an umbrella.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Whale and dolphin-watching tours are scheduled during the warm weather months. You can sail on a tall ship or rent a small boat to tour the harbor or Delaware Bay. Cape Henlopen State Park (4000 acres) and nearby Prime Hook Wildlife refuge (8500 acres) offer unlimited outdoor experiences.

Whether you are an avid birder or you simply want to enjoy the beauty of pristine sand dunes, quiet pine forest trails and unspoiled marshland, Lewes has it all.

Head boats routinely schedule trips out of Lewes Harbor in search of sea bass, flounder, trout, cod, mackerel, ling and other choice catches. Charter boat captains can satisfy your quest for the big game fish. Tuna, white marlin, shark and stripers are just some of the trophy fish lurking in the Atlantic waters. Most boats operate seasonally. A modern public boat ramp is open year round.
