Bed and Breakfast Description

Grace Manor Inn has four large, two-room guest suites with private baths, coffee makers, irons, hair dryers, mini refrigerators, microwaves, and spa robes. Beds are also triple sheeted for a luxurious feel.

The Inn also has a business center, a formal dining room, sunroom, and three formal parlours that guests are welcome to enjoy. Each of the parlours is filled with such amenities as original Tiffany chandeliers, stained glass windows, crystal chandeliers, and ornate plaster ceiling reliefs and moldings. There are 3 working fireplaces in the Inn as well.

Guests of the inn enjoy a 3-course, gourmet breakfast served with freshly brewed, piping-hot LavAzza coffee, gourmet loose teas, bellinis, and mimosas. A typical breakfast would include seasonal fresh fruit, a hot entree such as our 'Rustic Italian Breakfast.' This consists of Italian bread brushed with olive oil, grilled and topped with goat cheese, homemade basil pesto, broiled tomato slices, Proscuitto ham, poached eggs, and a fresh chiffonade of basil. This elegant breakfast would not be complete without dessert, such as our decadent pots du creme au chocolate with raspberries.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Walking distance to many restaurants and museums. The Manor is just a short drive from the boutiques of Carytown and the 7 museums on the Boulevard. The Capitol area, the Richmond Braves’ Baseball Stadium, VCU, the University of Richmond, and the Greater Richmond Convention Center are all within five miles of the inn.

For the theater lover, the Landmark Theater, the Richmond Symphony and the Virginia Opera are also only a short drive away.

Most Popular Rooms:

Zimmermann Suite: This suite has pale pink walls and is decorated in sage green and pink. It has a queen sized cherry bedroom set and both the bedroom and private sitting room have a decidedly French flair. The bath has a claw foot tub and D-ring shower.

Fensterer-Davis Suite: This suite is appointed with a queen sized flame mahogany bedroom set and has a connecting sitting room with a Victorian sofa, chairs, and a working fireplace. It also has a private balcony and a large bath with a claw foot tub.

Because we are a small, two-person business, we do not have a front desk. Check-ins are by appointment only. Please schedule a convenient time with the innkeepers.
