Bed and Breakfast Description

Located on a 50 acre llama farm, in rural Ingham County, Michigan, Topliff's Tara B&B is within easy driving distance of charming downtown Williamston, numerous antique shops, Michigan State University, Michigan's capital city of Lansing, golf courses, shopping and fine dining.

Located in the 1905 farm house portion of this grand country home. Visitors may enjoy the quiet country charm by strolling through the perennial gardens or visiting woolly llamas in the nearby pastures. In the winter, cross country skiing is available across wooded paths, and in warmer weather, lodging guests might be able to join the innkeepers on a llama hike.

You will find gardens aplenty at Tara. Surrounding the house and in the yard are numerous perennial gardens, where you will find seasonal blooms. In the summer, enjoy the garden views from decks and porches. An outdoor hot tub is available year round.

Area Attractions and Activities:

This quiet country estate is only 10 miles from the campus of Michigan State University, and only 6 miles from charming downtown Williamston. Antiquing, shopping, golf, and fine dining are only minutes away.

Attic Treasures: A favorite room for most guests. It is exclusively located on the third floor. The king size cedar four poster bed was handcrafted by a Michigan artisan, and a whirlpool tub is located in the beautifully tiled bathroom.

Spinning Loft: You will find a spinning wheel overhead in the private bathroom. This room has a queen size bed.
