The inn has 5 handsomely appointed guest rooms and 1 two-bedrom suite, all with private baths. The numerous inviting public rooms showcase the surrounding wooded landscape, designed to enhance relaxation and encourage casual conversation... those treasured characteristics of a classic bed and breakfast. The East Branch of the Saco River, stretching the entire length of the property, provides relaxing sound and fabulous views.

Award-winning handmade quilts accent the traditional New England style and tasteful decor of the Inn. This delightful hideaway boasts fabulous views of its bordering East Branch River, with an expansive side yard along its rocky banks. The three-story Victorian was constructed in 1906 as a private residence in the quaint mountain village of Intervale, less than 3 miles north of North Conway Village. Lovingly restored as a comfortable, romantic bed and breakfast inn, Riverside provides ideal access to the Mount Washington Valley's four seasons of activity and entertainment, and the immense natural beauty of the White Mountain National Forest.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Activity springs in every direction from the historic railroad depot in the center of town. Explore the numerous quaint shops & restaurants on foot, or take in a concert or dog show in Schouler Park. Check for available tee times at the beautifully scenic country club golf course, or don some ice skates in winter. The Saco River carves its way through town, offering summer watering holes to cool you right down. Perhaps you're not ready to scale a granite cliff, but it's exciting even to watch the climbers on Cathedral and White Horse Ledges, on the west side of town.

Visitors can shop 'til they drop at the many outlet malls and local arts and crafts galleries, antique shops and specialty stores. See a play at one of the area playhouses, ride one of the scenic train rides, and visit any of the many area family attractions. Local cuisine varies from gourmet ice cream to pub lunches to lively happy hours to elegant fine dining... in over 100 area restaurants and cafes.

SILVER CASCADE is in the southwest corner of the Inn, featuring a king size four poster bed facing the corner gas fireplace. The room overlooks the East Branch River with spa/tub and shower, heated towel rack, wing chair, oak armoire, writing table.

JACKSON FALLS' queen size four poster bed faces the romantic gas fireplace. This room has lovely views of the East Branch River. Its private full bath features a glass-enclosed shower and heated towel rack.
